WCSB would like to thank all of our amazing listeners for donating to Radiothon 2009. After a slow start, you really came through for us. Not only did we reach our goal, but we exceeded it by over $5,000, yielding our highest Radiothon total ever!   

Please join us at our annual Open House, Friday November 20th from 4pm-8pm & Sunday November 22nd from 12pm-4pm. You can pick up your premiums, meet your favorite DJs, check out our new studios and enjoy some light refreshments. Every Radiothon donor should be there to celebrate, because you are just as much a part of WCSB as our staff and DJs. Come on down!

Come MASH IT UP , all you monsters. It’s gonna rule! Be there, so when everyone is talking about how they were at the first ever WCSB Masquerade Ball, you can say you were there … and this time you won’t be lying. 

WCSB is holding its annual Radiothon T-shirt Design Contest. The winning design will be featured on our 2009 Radiothon T-shirts. The winner will recieve 89 dollars and 3 cents, in addition to the glory that comes with being part of this venerable tradition.You may send your designs in to WCSB Tee Design Contest, 3100 Chester Ave., 4th floor, Cleveland Ohio, 44115 or via email to our Development Department at develop@wcsb.org.  To be considered, the design must contain our call letters WCSB and throwing in 89.3 & Cleveland certainly won’t hurt your chances. 

All submissions must be received by Friday October 9th at 5pm.

WCSB is always looking for new and talented DJs to carry on the tradition of providing northeast Ohio with the finest in alternative entertainment and information. We have been broadcasting at 89.3 FM, from the campus of CSU since 1976!

Could you be one of our DJs?

1. Are you registered for classes at CSU?
2. Do you LOVE music? (music snobbery optional)
3. Can you bring something to WCSB that is not represented on commercial radio?
4. Can you add something unique to the programming that we already have?
5. Do you know what WCSB is all about? Do you listen to WCSB or other noncommercial radio stations?
6. Can you follow some basic (but VERY important) rules, and dedicate several hours a year to the station and events we hold?

You don’t have to have any prior experience. However, we are not a broadcasting school. We are here to provide a voice to music and culture that is neglected by the mainstream media.
