Cleveland’s Love Affair will join Ray on April 24th. They are a 1980’s  Atlantic/Radio Records recording group known for their single “Mama Sez”.

Tune in at 7pm on Monday April 23rd to hear San Francisco Bay Area Celtic rock band Tempest perform live on Timmy the Hippie’s Folk Show (Mondays from 7pm-9pm).

DJ Ray of The Ray Carr Show (Tuesdays 7am-9am) has been scoring some great interviews with legends of Cleveland broadcasting like Big Chuck & Little John and Larry Morrow. He will keep the trend going on 4/10/12 as he interviews Neil Zurcher. Tune in to hear stories of the classic Cleveland media of yore, his current work with the Plain Dealer and  Ohio one tank trips!

DJ Jack da Rippa of Go Gettaz Radio (Wednesdays 3pm-5pm) will be spinning at the Roc Bar on March 17th, accompanying a LIVE performance by legendary rapper C.L. Smooth of the classic duo Pete Rock and CL Smooth.

New York City DJ Jonathan Toubin is in critical condition after a runaway taxi crashed into his hotel room in Portland Oregon. Toubin was scheduled to perform that night.

Toubin is well known for his “New York Night Train” DJ series  & “Soul Clap/ Dance Off” in NYC and has taken his act on the road including 2 performances at the Beachland this past year with DJ Hot Trash.

There will be a donation at the door & 100% of the proceeds will go to assisting with Jonathan’s hospital & medical bills. Like so many in our music and art scene he did not have health insurance. There will be a raffle (including a WCSB gift pack and the coveted WCSB Beer).
