            <description><![CDATA[ TCM (International?) last night again broadcast _Boys' Night Out_ (1962), a great cultural specimen of prevailing early 1960s, pre-JFK assassination American domestic stereotypes of male self and female other.  Jim Backus (Thurston Howell III, Mr. Magoo), has a part as a "renting agent" for the "pad" these overworked corporate suburban white male salary men rent, complete with a resident blonde, trying to be sexually progressive along with their US president and his attorney-general brother in the immediate post-Kinsey report era.  Wikipedia notes that Backus was from Cleveland.]]></description>
