Where can I find a decent record cleaning kit?

Hi

We used to call these "disc-washers".

Does anyone know where in Cleveland or online I can find a decent record-cleaning kit? I already know where I can find an expensive ( and inferior ) foam covered cleaning block w/ fluid and brush. I'm really looking for the older-style ( remember the 80's ? ) soft velvety cloth covered curved block kind. Superior in not only design and fabric to lift dust, but also with a shape designed to reduce the chance of scratching the record.

Please post if you have any info about this.

Thanks!!

I appreciate the links unfortunately I was talking more along the lines of whole sale. We loose spacers like an 8 year old looses teeth. 7.50 for a pair aint gonna cut it.

Turntablelab.com out of NYC has a good selection, and I've found them to be

reliable and efficient...

(the aluminum cones look especially luscious)

Dustygroove.com out of Chicago is also a good resource, but they currently only

have pricy record-cleaning machines in stock (their website generally doesn't

display out-of-stock items)...

This is a hit or miss but sometimes "Play it again Sam" has 'em Did you checkGrand poobas yet?

Record Cleaners and Spacers (Especially Spacers) Are hard to find because they have not fully come out of the "Collectors market".

Traditional record spacers (not those cheap flat 3 prong thingy) no longer get mass produced. You can some time find a set of 50 on E bay but ususally they are the cheapy ones.

If you wanna go via the web just check out collectors sites.

I think on the Sundazed Recordings website they have the velvety kind with the little bottle of majic formula. I need to buy it too. They have some glossy luscious $400.00 turntables. I was just checking out that site over the weekend.
