In response to xpat, I saw Technotronic at the
Front Row theatre (a long-running, but now
demolished, theatre-in-the-round located in
Highland Heights) once. I don't remember who
else was on the bill. You didn't miss much:
Ya Kid K, the rather butch female rapper who
actually rapped on their recordings (not the
model Felly, who was on the covers) rapped over
some tapes. I don't remember if they had any
live keyboards or drums. Then,after the set,
she tried to pick up my date.
