sorry it took so long to get this posted.

this was our special "Superbowl Sunday" edition. The song of the week was "Superbowl Shuffle" by the Chicago Bears Shuffling Crew. It made numerous appearances.

items grouped under the same numeral were played simultaneously.

1. "No More Nothing" by Fear
something by Fennesz off the "Instrument" LP
Jimmy Swaggart "The Plague"
2. "Dread Lion" by Lee Perry from the "Super Ape" LP
3. William Burroughs "K-9 was in combat with the Alien Mind Screen"
Ultramagnetic MCs "Mechanism Nice (Born Twice) instrumental"
Muslimgauze - something from the "Uzi" LP
4. Robert Wyatt "Just as you are" (from last year's Comicopera CD) All-New Best song ever!
5. Barrington Levy "If you give to Me"
6. Nina Simone "Break Down and Let it all Out"
7. excerpt from Harry Partch "Delusion of the Fury"
8. a track off the Vinyl-On-Demand Karl Bosmann LP
9. Metgumbnerbone, something off what I think is their only LP, from '83
William Burroughs talking about smack and/or tape cut-ups
10. Nurse With Wound "Rock 'n' Roll Session" (excerpt)
11. Circuit Rider "Laughter"
12. Malaria "Laufin"
13. Davy Graham "Leaving Blues"

Also, at some point I read the liner notes to the Metgumbnerbone LP on air.

Sorry to whoever was upset that I play multiple records at once. Please tune into a conventional program if you don't care for that. This is No More Nothing.

Here at Carsick HQ, we call playing multiple records "rocking it 80s-style"...I remember Luigi (Bbob Drake [fluxmonkey.com]
running all the turntables in Main Air, possibly some cassettes, and a patch from the production studio with turntables in there running. I also caught the bug,
with recordings of Burroughs and Shakespeare being useful building-blocks.
