A new teen magazine aimed at the free jazz youth, Skronk On!, began publication in 1971, and focused heavily on Godz; at least one God adorned the cover of every issue published between January 1972 and April 1974)

Yoko Ono- "Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking for Her Hand in the Snow)" Fly 1971 (maintains #1 chart position for a remarkable 230 weeks on the WIXY-1260 survey scan (10/19/71)

Pink Fairies- "The Snake" (1970) Mandies and Mescaline (The live version of "The Snake" starts the Pink Fairies unequalled string of eleven consecutive number 1s, which will falter only when Englebert Humperdink keeps The Pigs Of Uranus stuck in number 2 four years later.

Amon Duul II- "Luzifers Ghilom" Phallus Dei 1969 (Spent 14 weeks at number one on the U.S., Kraut & Limey Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, one of the longest runs atop the Hot 100 chart in history. During its heyday, the song was played frequently at professional athletic games, rallies, funnerals, conventions, and Bar Mitzvahs. Luzifers Ghilom remained popular through 1970, but by the end of 1971, its popularity had diminished greatly. Amon Duul II broke records once again in 1971 with the release of the "Dehypnotized Toothpaste/A Short Stop At The Transylvania Brain Surgery" single which remained in the Hot 100 chart for 609 weeks.
