and i was so proud to have him answer phones for radiothon!
i also heard his show today and it was fantastic.

i bet his father, Peter Jennings Sr. was smiling down from heaven.

It kinda makes sense, y'know. Peter Jennings was always the hippest anchor of the 3 major networks. Sure, REM wrote a song about Dan Rather, but Jennings had his own radio show at age 10. He also hosted Club Thirteen, the Canuck version of American Bandstand, which was apparently more underground and featured risque dancing. That's not to say Club Thirteen must've been better, cuz Dick Clark & his teens got pretty out there at times:

I dig rock, not news, so I'm glad there's finally a Peter Jennings for my own generation!

Thank you! I had a lot of fun apprenticing and doing Radiothon and such! Did you get to hear the Jesus and Mary Chain you requested?

Awesome, I'm happy to hear that. I actually was expecting my show to kind of suck that morning, but it ended up being probably the best one I've yet.

Monday mornings got me hooked on wcsb (something about brain dead and driving on the highway made it adictive) and I am glad you have stepped in to make them as good as ever.

Thanks! Definetly stay tuned in the next few weeks. With school getting out I've had a lot more time to devote to finding new stuff to play. Oh, on Christmas morning I'm doing a 4 hour show of punk rock and indie rock Christmas/Jesus themed songs.
