personally I haven't heard a King Kong record since I was in high school in '94 (come on, old timers, "daffy duck don't give a fuck," you remember that...) but GOWNS is going to steal this show and is totally worth seeing (I think, I haven't seen 'em yet either)... the myspace.com/gowns site has some good Nico-esque bad damaged scree on it... and apparently their new record is coming out on cardboard (Parts & Labor's label... holla, hipsters). so there you have it.

I do NOT stand to benefit from this announcement, in fact, I will probably LOSE money as I usually do, but hell, what are student loans for?
