San Diego's Dub Traffik Control to perform at the Touch Supper Club on April 12

Dub Traffik Control is a DJ / production duo consisting of RE:UP
Magazine's editor-in-chief Eddie Turbo alongside Imputor? Records' El
Poeta. Together they create new sounds, fusing both their original
production with favored samples and breaks. While dub & reggae
influence their style, DTC also draws from a heavy diet of hip-hop and funk.
Their proximity to Tijuana, MX has taken them into both Latin styled cumbias and
Nortec techno areas as well. There is something for everyone in a DTC performance
with one common theme: keeping the party live.

Recently featured on the international London radio show Samurai.fm
alongside the likes of DJ Krush, DJ C, and Spank Rock, DTC compiled
a continuous mix entitled Dub One: A Rekkad Dem Play. The mix featured
unreleased original production by Planet Mu's Tom Burbank, live horns
from Cochemea Gastelum of Dap Kings / Sharon Jones's / Amy Winehouse / Budos Band
and was exclusively blessed, toasted and hosted by the Original Reggae Legend Don Carlos.

Their remix of Habitat Sound System's "Zebras in the
Dubhall"--released in March off Gematria Records--is exclusively
available on seven-inch vinyl. They also just released a twelve-inch
vinyl EP on Brooklyn's BSTRD Boots, which contains 6 original remixes
that any DJ in the world can add to their aresenal.

Performing in L.A., New York, Tijuana and of course San Diego, this
will be DTC's first ever appearance in the state of Ohio. Expect a
dancefloor mopped with satisfied sweat by night's end.
