WCSB RADIOTHON 2005

On Sunday, November 6th, at twelve noon, WCSB will begin its 22nd annual Radiothon.  This week long fundraising effort is WCSB's primary source of revenue.  Your listener support during our Radiothon will help WCSB continue its tradition of serving the community with diverse, non-commercial radio programming.  There are a couple of changes for this year's Radiothon, they include:

  • WCSB has another limited design tee shirt available as a premium for Radiothon 2005.
  • More new WCSB logo premiums, including: metal travel mugs, CD holders and umbrellas!
  • Last year’s expanded Friday Open House hours were highly successful, we are doing it again.
  • WCSB 2005 pocket planners will be given to the first 50 donors at the WCSB Open House.

Our goal for Radiothon 2005 is to raise $30,000.  This can only happen with your support.  Our Radiothon phonelines will be open at 216.687.6900 to call in your pledge and pick your premiums.  Remember, WCSB Radiothon 2005 lasts from 12 noon November 6th through 12 noon November 13th. 

Below we have listed three easy ways to donate this year.
1. Come to the WCSB Open House
Call in during Radiothon week on our special Radiothon phone line at 216.687.6900 and pledge a donation during your favorite WCSB program(s).  Come to WCSB's Open House on either Friday, November 18th (3-8 PM) or on Sunday, November 20th (12-4 PM) and drop off your pledge in person.  You may also pick up your premiums, if you have requested premiums for your pledge.   WCSB 2006 pocket planners will only be given out to to the first 50 Radiothon donors who pick and pay for their premiums at Open House.  Please have your check or money order made out to "WCSB/CSU Foundation".  Credit cards and cash may also be accepted.  WCSB is located on the 9th Floor of Rhodes Tower on the campus of Cleveland State University.  Rhodes Tower is now easily identifiable by the huge lighted 'CSU' letters located on all four sides of our 20 story building.  The street address is 2121 Euclid Avenue.  If you need directions, call 216.687.3591 during the Open House hours.

2. Mail your check or money order
Call in during Radiothon week at 216.687.6900 and pledge a donation during your favorite WCSB program(s).  Pick your premiums while calling in, if you want them.  Have your check or money order made out to "WCSB/CSU Foundation" for the total amount pledged during Radiothon week.

3. Donate online with a credit card
Call in during Radiothon week at 216.687.6900 and pledge a donation during your favorite WCSB program(s).   You can donate online by clicking the link that follows and by filling out the Cleveland State University secure website Credit Card Donation Form.  Fill out the credit card donation form in its entirety, and be sure to write in "WCSB" in the "If Other" text box.  If you do not write in WCSB, your donation will be considered as a general donation to Cleveland State University and not WCSB!!

Radiothon Premiums
We have four different types of premiums available: WCSB Logo Items, Gift Certificates, Music Premiums and Special Premiums.  We have linked pictures to the descriptions of most of the WCSB logo items and some of the special premium items.
