EVERBODY says Marvin Gaye, but who actually does "Get it On"? My list, naturally, is going to be considered down right insane or disgusting, depending on who you are, so I'll let others post first...

i don't usually listen to music when i'm getting it on (much to the chagrin of the roommate) but...
well...
this seems too personal because if you know who i am then you know who i'm getting it on WITH.

i will say that it is not a good idea to listen to a mix cd when you are getting it on because sometimes a song will come on that will just ruin the mood: for example, "this magic moment" by jay and the americans. killed the mood, too funny.

I'll have to try the Cannibal Corpse. It HAS crossed my mind before. I usually prefer King Diamond, Manowar, Iron Maiden, etc. Bonus points to KD and GWAR if they're songs about abduction and such.

sorry but for this you got to stay with the clasics Good ol marvin gay or al green. Just as long you have the following: a dim lighted marbel bathroom with a heart shaped jacucci, candles on cheap carbernet sovignion, 2 mirrors one for watching and the other to snort your lines of coke on stupid, real leopard towels and last but defenatly not least a giant aquarium filled with amazonian piranas. Nothing sez I wanna sex ya more than a tank full of pinanas and some al green.

Yeah, I'll stick to songs about abduction and rape--it just makes everything soooooo DIRTY! Soul music would make me limp and (whoever--I only hook up with crazy rock women)dry. DIRTY!!! Love is something altogether different.

Oh, and "5150" by Van Hagar has always been a topper. Also, Stabbing Westward's "Wither Blister Burn + Peel", Static-X's "Wisconsin Death Trip", and the ultimate "Whitesnake" (eponynymous)

Lovage, w/ the aptly named "Music to make Love to Your Old Lady by." Mike Patton is genius, Jennifer Charles? (I'm NOT indie!) is sexy. I do each of the the lucky few to this album, since it came (no pun intented) out.

In college, my friend Chew and I would talk about making a skit comedy movie - sorta like Kentucky Fried Movie. Anyway, I thought it would be funny that in every "love" scene, marching band music - like Sousa - would begin to play in the distant background. The music would increase in voulume until the band would march directly through the room/set with the couple keeping stride.

I soon invested in Classic American Marchs on vinyl. Whenever Chew would retire to his dorm room with his girlfriend, I would give it a few minutes then BLAST the record toward his window.

Man, I thought that shit was so funny back in 1990.

Marching Band Music.

That's funny.
