I am reminded of a talk show on WCSB that i found very amusing back in 1976-77. I think it was on a weekday evening, maybe a Wednesday, from 7 to 8 pm perhaps. There were two very funny guys doing the show. I even went down one evening and sat in with them. As I recall, one was a really tall heavy set guy, and the other guy was short and slight.

During the broadcast I attended they were low on callers so they sent me to another room and had me phone in to create some interest. They often pranked the audience with fraudulent, but funny, topics and assertions.

Anyone remember this show, or know the hosts?

Over thirty years later, I find myself doing a two hour radio talk show in Toronto with a co-host, now that I think of it, similar to what I heard back on good old WCSB in Cleveland.

This sounds similar to the Joe & Joe/Scruggscorp Radio stuff I was doing with Mike Jordan and Dennis Stemplinski. However we didn't start any of that until 1996/1997.

The show you are referring to was probably Make Contact. Sherman Hirsch was one of the show hosts. I can't remember the name of the other host. Another station member, Steve Sileo might also have been involved.
