Your Help is NEEDED to bring Google to Cleveland! Take five minutes to Vote for our Great City!
Google is launching an experiment that hopes will make Internet access better and faster for everyone. They plan to test ultra-high speed broadband networks in one or more trial locations across the country. Their networks will deliver Internet speeds more than 100 times faster than what most Americans have access to today, over 1 gigabit per second, fiber-to-the-home connections.
The city of Cleveland will be submitting a response to the RFIfrom Google, a link is attached below. Please watch the short video for an overview of the project. Your help is needed to nominate the City of Cleveland for this project. Google would like to hear from residents, businesses and education institutions on why the City of Cleveland should get the selection. Please follow the link marked "GET INVOLVED" then select "NOMINATE YOUR COMMUNITY". Please NOMINATE THE CITY OF CLEVELAND by March 26, 2010.
